Renew easily to stay fully covered
Renewing your insurance policy is simple. We’ll notify you before your policy expires so you can review your renewal details and continue your cover without interruption. Stay covered with ease when you renew your Car, Motorcycle, Commercial Vehicle or Annual Travel insurance policy with us!
- Auto-Renewal: Opt in to Automatic Renewal when you check out online using a credit card. Your policy renews automatically when it expires, so you don’t need to do anything — one less thing to think about.
- Manual Renewal: If you did not opt for Automatic Renewal, look out for our renewal notice. You may enjoy early renewal savings when you manually renew your policy online, within 14 days of receiving your renewal notice. This applies to Car, Motorcycle and Commercial Vehicle policies only; and excludes Annual Travel policies. Subject to the terms in your renewal notice, you stand to receive e-vouchers worth 5% of your renewal premium payable before GST for renewing early.
How do our Renewals work?
Automatic Renewal
Your renewal notice (containing your renewal premium) will usually be available for review in Policy Manager around 60 days before your policy expires. We will also send the notice via email and SMS. For customers without email or those who chose not to go paperless, we will send the notice by mail.
- To continue your existing coverage: No action is required from you — we will complete the renewal process for you. We will deduct/charge the renewal premium from the credit card we have kept on file for you. This will be done 14 days before the expiry date of your current policy ("Deduction Date").
- To discontinue automatic renewal: Inform us at least 2 working days before the Deduction Date and your policy will lapse after the last day of cover.
- To view, edit or renew your policy prior to the Deduction Date: Log into your Policy Manager account, select 'My Policies' and follow the prompts.
- Alternatively, you may contact our Customer Care Centre.
To renew your policy manually:
- Renew via Policy Manager: Log into your Policy Manager account, select 'My Policies' and once your renewal notice is available for review there (usually about 30 days before your current policy’s expiry date), follow the prompts for instant renewal. Full payment of the renewal premium should reach us at least 14 days prior to the expiry of your current policy. Otherwise, your policy will lapse after the last day of cover.
- Renew via SMS: Reply to the renewal notice SMS from us, and we will process your policy renewal using the credit card we have on file.
Alternatively, you may simply renew your policy over the phone by contacting our Customer Care Centre who will be able to assist you.
We offer convenient digital payment options.
- Credit card: For policy renewal via SMS, Policy Manager, over the phone or in person at our Customer Care Centre. Save more when you make a single payment to enjoy a 3% premium discount, or spread the full cost over 12 monthly 0% interest instalments (DBS/POSB credit cards only).
- PayNow: Available only for online renewals via Policy Manager.
